About Our Firm
We are hiring for a collaborative boutique law firm in Tucker consisting of three attorneys. We are seeking a positive, collaborative professional who wants to plant roots in a small office environment where every team member is treated with mutual respect.
Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive, highly organized Probate & Estate Planning Paralegal to take full ownership of our case file lifecycle and administrative pipeline. In our small firm environment, you will wear multiple hats, handling everything from legal drafting and electronic filing to assembling trial binders and coordinating directly with clients. Our primary objective is finding a technologically proficient team member who possesses a bulletproof understanding of Georgia e-filing systems to optimize operational workflows for our attorneys.
Key Responsibilities
Case Workflow & File Ownership
  • Process Ownership: Own the administrative and procedural lifecycle of probate, estate planning, and light bankruptcy matters from initial file setup to resolution.
  • E-Filing & Court Systems: Manage electronic court filings (E-File knowledge is a critical priority), ensuring all documents adhere strictly to Georgia court rules and deadlines.
  • Legal Documentation: Draft initial probate court pleadings, petitions, letters, estate planning documents, and standard legal correspondence for attorney review.
  • Client Service Excellence: Act as a primary, professional point of contact for clients, delivering outstanding customer service with tact, empathy, and clear updates.
  • Administrative Operations: Assemble comprehensive client binders, process and track certified mailings, log file updates, and step in to assist with general office workflows as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bilingual Preferred: Native or fluent Spanish-speaking skills are highly preferred to seamlessly support our diverse client base.
  • Tech-Forward Mentality: Strong proficiency with Adobe Acrobat (PDF modification, combining, and form creation) and digital file structures. We are a tech-driven office and expect a candidate who navigates software with ease.
  • Practice Area Scope: Prior exposure to Georgia probate administration and estate planning is required. Experience with bankruptcy filing is a plus, but we are fully willing to train a fast learner on the bankruptcy process.
  • Culture Fit: Must thrive in a small office dynamic, adapt quickly to shifting daily priorities, and treat clients and coworkers alike with absolute dignity and respect.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status. We consider all qualified applicants, including those with criminal histories, in a manner consistent with state and local laws, including the California Fair Chance Act, City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance, and San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
